Best Thawing Practices

We recommend removing your steak from the freezer, one to two days before cooking, and placing it in the refrigerator. A quick thaw can be done by placing the cryovac-packaged beef in a bowl of cold water in the sink (depending upon the thickness it may be ready in just a couple of hours). Our beef can be also be refrigerated for a week or more, before cooking, if it is left in the cryovac packaging.
