Grilling Frozen Steaks 101

Light grill and ensure you have a hot fire. Our family loves grilling on the Big Green Egg.

Sear steaks over direct heat for 5-7 minutes on each side, until they're nicely caramelized.

Add seasonings - We love our La Vaca Seasoning or simply salt and pepper. Make sure to generously season both sides AFTER searing. Seasonings will not stick to a frozen steak.

Move steaks to indirect heat (about 300 degrees) for about 15 minutes - use a thermometer to ensure they've reached the proper temperature. Pull meat from the grill 5 minutes below your desired temperatures.

Let meat rest for 10 minutes before serving to redistribute juices and to let the meat reach the desired internal temperature.

Eat & Enjoy!
